Midstate family,
U.S Soccer has recently announced they will be implementing changes to the player registration pathway starting in Fall 2026.
NO CHANGES for 2025/2026 season. Here are the main points below;
~Members and leagues will have reasonable flexibility to choose between birth year or
school year for the
2026-2027 season.
~No change for the
2025-2026 season.
~U.S. Soccer will formally approve the implementation process in the coming weeks
~U.S. Soccer will build resources and tools to support members.
Midstate will be in direct, continuous communication with IYSA, leagues & fellow clubs to ensure we make the right decisions on what is best for Midstate Soccer Club & our soccer community. We will also likely gather feedback from you, our Midstate Soccer Club family in due course, to ensure we are providing the best sports experience we can.
