Midstate Family,

It is with a heavy heart that have to tell you, I will be leaving my role as Assistant Soccer Director that I have held for just over 8 years and longer, if you count my part time role. My final day will be Friday 3rd January.

I have enjoyed so many years meeting so many different people in different environments. I have so many fond memories that will stick with me forever. It has been more than a pleasure to be a part of such an amazing community and soccer club.

You can always take someone out of Midstate, but I do not think you can take Midstate out of me. This club will always be ‘my’ club and this is not the end. I know I will return one day and it will be like I never left. I know that I am leaving the club in great hands, that it is in a better position than it was when I arrived, and it will keep on improving. I know that I brought a lot to this job and my role, but its more than just myself. It takes an army; Colin, Eric, Tyler, Artur, Joel and the Decatur Park District, but most importantly you guys, the players, the families. You are what keeps this club growing and getting stronger. That’s not forgetting about the other wonderful people who I have had the pleasure working with and never get the credit they deserve; Cara, Laura, Ashley, Tricia, Joli and Christa!

I hope to see your children continue to grow in this amazing organization, as I believe there is nowhere better than Midstate Soccer Club!

I will do my best to help the club transition from me leaving and a new staff member coming on to take the reins, so you still might see me around from time to time.

There are so many more people I could thank and so much more I could say, but I’ll leave it there. This is not a good bye but ‘I’ll see you later’.

A motto I stand by which, is also a motto for my professional soccer team I follow, ‘You’ll never walk alone’, and you will not, by be being a part of this fantastic club!
