Midstate family,

We are beyond excited that the LARGEST EVER Midstate Cup (with teams from 5 different states) is upon us! With 157 teams we have eclipsed our previous best of 143 (2024).
Please check out these reminders so everyone enjoys the experience!

- CHECK out the Midstate teams master schedule (ATTACHED) & cheer on ALL our Midstate teams!
- It will be a little hotter, & many of you may be out there as a family for extended periods of time. Please wear light loose clothing, & be sure to HYDRATE!
- THANK you for stepping up to volunteer! It is truly appreciated! Please thank any volunteers you see!
- THANK our site coordinators! There will be staff in place helping at the off site locations!
- THANK a referee! Yes, really it may just be the reason they keep officiating, which keeps YOUR kid playing. Remember we continue to lose referees- we need them!
- THANK our tournament committee. If you get a chance please thank Jeff, Rod, Mike, Christa, Tricia, Alexis, Brittany, Alan, Andrew, Jenni, Tads, Bryant, Che and everyone else for all their hard work!
- THANK a sponsor. Take a look at our banners & field flags. Many local businesses are supporting us!
- HELP our visitors. Many folks may not be familiar with our wonderful complex. Show them our hospitality if they need directions, shuttles, or just have a general question!
- TELL your players you love watching them play. This has been researched to be THE most effective phrase you can say to your child before & after sports.
- THANK your coaches! This end of season event can be hard for coaches and I know how much time and effort they invest into your kids!
- COMPLIMENT the opposition. Yes, when it comes from the other team it means a lot. What you give you tend to get back.
- TRY our great vendors & tell us what you think!
- APPRECIATE our complex- it really is in tremendous shape. Big thank you to our park district staff!

- ONE other thing ~ MVP game tags will be given to players on the opposing team by the coach (es)! A brilliant display of sportsmanship!

In what is our LARGEST event EVER, we are ALL showcasing & representing our club, our complex, our city & our state this weekend. Let’s do it right, as we always do & leave people with a lasting impression that will make them want to return in future years!
